 @d6a085c8 that's for sure, but Apple is actually a leader in supporting old devices for a very long time, so when you do actually need to replace, it will happen eventually, why not buying something that at least cares about reducing your carbon footprint? 
 @780d775d @d6a085c8 Because, while I agree that Apple's record on this is good, the fact their devices are still hard to repair means that phones which could be repaired during that long lifetime are actually replaced. So it's important to buy something that's repairable too, like the Fairphone.
