it's a ryzen 3600 with a mobo b450 16gb ddr4 ram and 4060ti 16Gb vram, is not top of the line but works as intended.
How long to render and how long to upscale?

 Thanks for answering.
it really depends the method on local at the moment you configure your settings to generate with base res on sdxl models could take 10 to 15 secs. If you use upscalers around 40secs or a minute and the res max without running out of cuda easily 17xx pixels heigh x 12xx width if you have more system ram there's a method called multidiffusion it can go higher than that but obviously will take more to gen since it will start using system ram once it runs out vram.
Do you prefer SDXL over 1.5? So far I like 1.5 more. Output is low res but more similar to what i had in mind. Then i use refinements and upscalers to bring quality and details.
Well depends on your personal preference both are fine but most man power moved into sdxl but now seems some are reaching new highs with flux training, which I find more heavy resource intensive even in the most basic gens. Also in sdxl models no need to use refinements, upscalers even a base res gen can be quite good enough.
I see. Maybe I should experiment more with XL but I don't have a strong enough pc for it.
Yeah is a little bit more demanding. You can try using forge is a fork of auto1111 with some optimizations for pc that have 8 or 12gb+ vram. But up to you since changing workflows are pain until you configured the way you like lol.
 I'll look into it. Thanks.
 No problem :purple_hugging:
