GM. Serious question to start your day.

Why has the Samourai case not drawn as much viral support from bitcoiners as the Hodlonaut case? No profile pic changes. No constant discussion. Much fewer financial contributions. Etc.

Everyone really rallied around Hodlonaut. This hasn’t been the case for Samourai. Why not?
I’m going to assume the lack of support is due to the general consensus that privacy isn’t a priority in the bitcoin space.

Also might derive from a sense of fear for authority and an unwillingness to stick their neck out to speak up.
 Some reasons could be:
• They didn't suffer fools on Twitter and so were often rude to people, winning super-fans and super-enemies.
• The situation is different (civil/criminal) and maybe beating csw was more important to more people than beating usg. Sad.
• They had a business that had a good revenue stream for years, meaning they probably have bigger stacks than the average pleb. Whereas the space cat was just a regular pleb when it all kicked off.

I'm not sure if any of these are true though.
Imagine thinking it’s more important to beat the fat autist than the USG.
I'm thinking of the kind of people that cheered the ETFs and got hard from people like Samson Mow saying ETFs would push the price to $1M. NGU rather than freedom go up people.
 Yes. Cypherpunks these are not.
 Marketing towards satoshi worshippers.

because publicly advocating for privacy associates one with criminality?

i mean, right?
Who is hodlonaut and what happened to this person?
A bitcoiner who got sued by Craig Wright. CW claimed to be Satoshi. Hodlonaut mocked him for it.
Oh so he sued more than one person over this? What a fucking clown. And would this be the same hodlonaut who I might be following on here?
 Probably is
