 You can just fetch thread/dm/notification notes from paid relays if spam gets bad. Could just be a toggle

 I get mostly spam bot replies and likes on X unfortunately. I assumed it was cause I didn’t pay for premium so in addition to being spam targeted I don’t get seen by anyone I reply to…

 I have 181 followers on Twitter, of which 150 are bots/scammers/impersonators. It's so sad. I only use Twitter because of news outside the Bitcoin sphere. It would be great if there was a way to relay interesting Twitter constant directly on nostr. Probably requires access to Twitter APIs though 

 It's crazy that they don't filter them out.  The syntax is so easy and there must be a ton of people who have reported those.

The ads are also horrible. Bluechecked accounts with the same shitcoin scams with identical messages.

Didn't X mention that they are now going after smaller ad accounts since there's trouble in paradise with the big ones.

This is then the result. Any $$$ is a good coin regardless of the message.

 Why will people still use Nostr when the same reply bots move over here?  There's nothing unique about Nostr that prevents this type of SPAM, it's just not here yet.  It's likely even cheaper to do here as generating new nsecs are effectively free.
