Existe algum limite no tamanho de arquivos de vídeo ao colar links diretos de mp4?

Ao criar uma nota com um url de um arquivo mp4 de 15 mb, o Amethyst carregou tranquilamente.

Porém, ao criar uma nota com um url com um arquivo de 85 mb não carregou.

Existe também uma diferença de codec entre os dois arquivos. O primeiro é h.264 enquanto que o segundo é h.265.


 


 

 Humm nunca tentei nada tão grande. Mas so pelo tamanho deve demorar bastante. 

 Ah, eu não soube me expressar corretamente. O arquivo carrega, mas aparece um player preto sem conteúdo.  

 Vc tem o post em algum lugar acessível que eu possa ver?

Baixei ela pelo Obtainium diretamente do repositório Github do Vitor (versão F-Droid) 

 I have seen this before if the amethyst video compressor doesn't support a video it will produce a black image.  

 For large videos consider hosting on your own webhost. 

The free nostr media servers are not built for professional media hosting.

 Yeah, but I did not uploaded this video to a nostr relay. Is just a url directly from my Nextcloud server. Some clients can play it. 

 I see.. I think it's a problem with the delivery and not with amethyst.

Is the Media optimised for streaming? What is the Bitrate? What is the upload speed of your home connection?  

 The media is not optimized for streaming because it has a high bitrate. I'm a videomaker and I was just testing if Nostr could play videos on a high quality. 

Social medias compresses our videos and destroys it. 

I think I need to find a good export config to balance between quality and streaming 

 I am also a media creator with many years of experience. 

What is the Bitrate of the video, what is the upload bandwidth of the server you are hosting it from? 

This doesn't look like a problem with nostr. It looks like a problem with your media server. 

You can try vlc and use the url you gave. Same issue with buffering and stalling. 

YouTube has a very efficient media streaming platform with multiple quality versions of the media, testing of your speed and adapting the media served.
