I hadn’t looked into before, definitely interesting. It looks like the Canadian Truckers were using it, which is cool. Will dig deeper. How did you hear about it? Have you used it?
I set up a channel for my family just for fun we used it for about a week. what's interesting is some people have built relays out of old laptops running Zello with a microphone / speaker line hooked up to a GMRS radio do bridge a Zello group with a GMRS net
