I feel my parents will never get Bitcoin. Ive given them all resources, articles, books, videos, been to conferences. They just don't get it.
I am a living example of the prosperous lifestyle of accumulating Bitcoin. Idk I honestly don't know what to do after 12 years of this.
I gifted them sats but they see it as a "oh he didn't have money for gifts so he gifted me his Bitcoins oh well".
I feel they'll never understand. What am I doing wrong? Do I really need to go and buy 12 lambos just to prove it?
Explaining new monetary systems to the old generation is exhausting and takes time to make one understand it. But you could also move to Africa and fix issues instead of 12 lambos
It would probably be better to compare the sats to their 401k…
Don't forget to compare their 401k to reported inflation numbers, and have them pick an actual area of spending their money goes to so you can check how the costs in that area have compared to the reported inflation numbers.
It will go:
Bitcoin > real inflation > reported inflation > 401k
And if you add the better cryptocurrency the order will go:
doggie coin > Bitcoin > real inflation > reported inflation > 401k
All you need to do is show them that the btc froth is faster then their 401k…
Idk, maybe your parents are built different
I gave my mom .5 btc when it was @ 150 a coin…
She has watched first hand how btc has out performed her 401k
I did the same with an old green wallet she still has. She's seen it grow for many years but just says "yes its nice", then proceeds to ask broker where to put money because nothing is generating growth...
Bitcoin Mother. You literally just saw your Bitcoin go up from $500 to $70,000. Idk what more to do.
You can't change other people's minds. But you can find people that are open to new ideas and show them the way.

It was in this episode, worth the listen.

Just keep stacking and living your best life. Even if they don't understand Bitcoin, if you are happy and have purpose they will accept what you're doing.
