The colors of autumn have kissed the trees lining the Mill Yard Trail in the Annapolis Valley. On an early morning walk in October, with the sun just barely peeking over the horizon, the leaves are bathed in gold and bronze shades. Behind the trees, a farm field has a soft ground mist covering the now bare rows.
