They make us use it at work, so I guess my employer created an account for me? I don't know.

Linux is the only thing I've used in my personal life for almost 20 years now. 

 when you are setting it up put in a banned email and it lets you make a local account

 Gaming sadly... yes you can game on linux pretty well but it has its problems 

 It no longer works on the latest update 

 There’s some other hacks too 

I’m setting up a windows soon I’ll report back 

 I've install win10, no account needed and i prefer the UX/UI of the 10 anyway
