 I have the complete  opposite view. Banks should be allowed to do whatever the fuck they want. That includes collecting or not collecting information.

 Let the people chose who they want to do business with.  

 Politicians shouldn't be able to force how people want to run their business. The market should determine winners and losers... not the state. 


(It's the same reason why I was against mandatory GMO labeling)
