and i've been sketch on AI since i first learned about it, and that was back like 1986 or so
i think they have useful functions as each new invention arrives but most AI freaks don't even realise it's based on cryptography!
neural nets are based on a hash function that on average gives a weighting towards a partial match, they are related to fuzzy logic also, which is where decisions are made either side of thresholds
i'm no greenstick when it comes to computation technologies and nothing i am aware of makes me think that this time they have a way to simulate human brains, even if they were able to coerce the entire internet to compute for it
the algorithms are not yet sufficient to do anything better than good quality searching at this point, and small refactorings
