Has anyone on #Nostr successfully orange pilled a business? If yes, how did you do it? I would like to present Bitcoin to businesses here in Spokane and could you some direction.

until there's an easy way to do accounting and inventory with Bitcoin sales AND substantial demand for that payment type, there's really no orange pilling a business without just orange pilling the owner/decision maker.

thus, solo entrepreneurs, small businesses and just friends are the reachable fruit.
I appreciate you taking the time to share this. Thank you!
I found most business owners don’t want to think about purchasing power, they just want to focus on their business and expansion. Demonstrating how #bitcoin protects long-term purchasing power helps them down the #orangepill path. The below post is an owner that I brought in and his value increase in local(¥) and USD terms, sufficiently convincing for any business

@bitcoin.rocks has some good resources (and a free business kit) here: https://bitcoin.rocks/business
Awesome resource! I’m going to check this out. Thank you!
not yet, though I do ask every business that I buy something from if they accept Bitcoin, even though I know the answer is no. Usually it ends there but every so often the person will ask a few questions and they seem interested in learning more
That’s a good way to plant Bitcoin seeds. Show that there’s a demand. Thank you!
 - Use it yourself with the businesses you may be involved with**
- Buy local (as apposed to multinational corps) where possible and ask if they accept Bitcoin - but expect them to say no - purpose is just to show them demand. Smaller owner/operator businesses who feel the pain of inflation will take more interest (e.g. taxi drivers).

** If you want to orange pill your place of work (and you are not a director) be prepared for a long slog of looking for the opportunity. To be honest it’s probably easier to join a Bitcoin first business although satisfying when you make some inroads :-)

To be honest, in the west there is still not enough “pain” yet and people seem happy to pay tax by inflation 🤷‍♀️

Purple-pilling, is even harder though! People care even less about being “uncancellable” (proper word for that?!).
Thank you for your insight. I appreciate your time!
Let us know how it goes :-)
I definitely will. My barber and then a local zipline business will be my first attempts!
