 iirc funchal airport had the shortest landing strip, too.. combine that with the occasional wind.. yeah, i'd be more relaxed landing on other airports..

 We definitely floated around a bit as we approached! My flight from Toronto to Ponta Delgada was way worse though. Turbulence had me sweating.
