Meet 18-year-old @Dylan_Brack who will be making his first TOUR start @WWTChampionship via Monday qualifier 📝⛳️

🤝 A distant relative to professional golfer Tadd Fujikawa who became the youngest player to qualify for a U.S. Open at 15 years old in 2006.
⛳️ In 2010, Brack started with First Tee – Greater Pasadena at 4 years old and began playing U.S. Kids Golf Tournaments at age 5.

Happy 89th birthday to golf legend @GaryPlayer! 🥳👏
The “Black Knight” is a Golf Ambassador, Philanthropist and Golf Course Designer with a passion for fitness and thoroughbred horses.
Having turned professional at the age of 17 in 1953, Player traveled 16 million miles in his career and won 165 professional tournaments on six continents over seven decades.
Alongside Ben Hogan, Jack Nicklaus, Gene Sarazen and Tiger Woods, the South African shares the distinction of being one of only five golfers to have achieved a Career Grand Slam by winning all four majors. He is also the only golfer on that list to have won a Grand Slam on both the regular and Senior Tours.
Between the PGA TOUR, @ChampionsTour and @DPWorldTour, Player has amassed 59 wins and 151 top-3 finishes. His illustrious resume includes 9 major championships, 24 PGA TOUR victories and 22 PGA TOUR Champions wins, where he is tied for seventh on the all-time wins list. In 2009, Player had an emotional farewell after playing his final competitive round of golf at the 2009 Masters Tournament.
Also a fixture in team competitions, he captained the International Team in the 2003 and 2007 Presidents Cup; and the South African team in golf’s return to the Games at the 2016 Rio Olympics.
Player was honored many times for his incredible career, including his 1974 induction into the World Golf Hall of Fame, 2003 Laureus Lifetime Achievement Award, the PGA TOUR Lifetime Achievement Award for Outstanding Services to Golf in 2012, and 2020 Presidential Medal of Freedom.
A renowned golf course designer with more than 135 golf courses on five continents, Player designed The Links at Fancourt in South Africa, the site of the 2003 Presidents Cup. The Links at Fancourt, Thracian Cliffs in Bulgaria and The Old Course at St. Andrews are among his favorite golf courses.
On the horse racing track, Player’s stud farm in South Africa has received worldwide acclaim for breeding more than 2,000 thoroughbred winning horses, including the 1994 English Derby winner Broadway Flyer.
Known for his positive mindset, Player has lived by the mantra of “the harder I practice, the luckier I get.” https://pbs.twimg.com/media/GbPn2KZWkAAAAeA.jpghttps://pbs.twimg.com/media/GbPn2KYXcAEKoEZ.jpg

The incredible resume of Isao Aoki added another accolade this week in Japan.
The 2004 World Golf Hall of Fame inductee was honored by the Japanese government this week as one of 20 recipients of a Person of Cultural Merit, awarded to people who have made outstanding cultural contributions for the advancement and development of Japanese culture.
Aoki turned professional 60 years ago in 1964 and has largely been credited for growing the sport in the country, which has subsequently led to the emergence of Shigeki Maruyama, Satoshi Kodaira, Ryuji Imada, Ryo Ishikawa and Hideki Matsuyama, amongst others, on the PGA TOUR.
As the first Asian golfer to win on the PGA TOUR following his historic triumph at the 1983 Sony Open in Hawaii, Aoki enjoyed a stellar golf career where he claimed 51 (!!) wins on the Japan Golf Tour and one on the DP World Tour.
He also finished runner-up at the 1980 U.S. Open falling to Jack Nicklaus in a memorable duel at Baltusrol Golf Club.
Aoki finished inside the top 10 in 12 of his first 13 career PGA TOUR Champions major starts.
He served as Chairman of the Japan Golf Tour Organization for eight years, from 2016 to 2024.
“I am thrilled to be selected as a Person of Cultural Merit in the year of my 60th anniversary as a professional golfer,” said the now 82-year-old Aoki.
“I am truly grateful to the people around me who have supported me for many years.” https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Ga6LacoXkAA-kek.jpghttps://pbs.twimg.com/media/Ga6Lbr6WUAAgS_i.png
