I may still be talking about CozyCon for a while, but beyond that I don't miss the event. I have no plans to return either, because I've been supporting crypto for a year now, and its leader detests crypto, NFTs, and AI. They were also nowhere near as supportive as they claimed to be.
I'm pretty sure banning a person from a chat does not say, "I support you." That's a bit of a reach.

This year was a real crapshoot, and that's as far and as polite as I'll put it.
But at least I'm finally out of a crappy apartment situation in Surrey, so I'll give'r that.
Very few furries, like myself, are into cryptocurrency.
Most of the fandom have distanced themselves from it when NFTs first started appearing on Twitter in 2020, and later integrated into the crypto market. I've mentioned before that a leader on a Discord server I was on flat-out hates crypto, NFTs, and AI art.
I don't have interest in NFTs myself. I'd prefer to keep my crypto investments simple and focused on my future with it.

I've only played two games in the series, both of which were released on Super NES, but they've had releases on Sega Genesis and Game Boy, too. They were rentals too, but I've had a lot of fun playing them.
I'll have to buy this later.
Today, the pool table that came with the house when my parents moved, is getting destroyed. We were unable to find a buyer for it, or someone to come pick it up for free, and we need the space for the house. So, it's going to be a sledgehammer affair.
It breaks my heart to destroy a perfectly good pool table, but there isn't much I can do about it. Except assist in its destruction. 😭💔
Yesterday I made an attempt to make sparkling Gatorade using SodaStream.
It was semi-successful, although the mix was a little weak. I used a liquid form instead of the crystal method.
I'll get that flavour, though.
Google Rewards is funny sometimes. It'll ask me if I've visited some places recently, one of which I'm visiting right now for lunch.
Other times it'll ask me if I've been to stores I've not seen, nor heard about.
On a sidenote, A&W makes yummy burgers. 😋🍔
So, about a week or so ago, I got banned from an online convention server on Discord, because I've tried unsuccessfully to fight for accountability to those who commit wrongdoing. They said I can return again within 6 months, but honestly I have no desire or intention to return. My forced removal has proven they'll defend troublemakers and thieves, and that's not something I'm willing to support.
Plus, the event's leadership has a hard stance against cryptocurrency (as well as NFTs and AI art), and says just as much on their social profiles. They've also bullied a young person for posting AI art instead of asking them politely yet firmly to take it down. AI art posting is prohibited on that server, as the leadership is a known artist in the furry community. I'd feel out of place just because I support crypto.
At this point I'm just gonna let them do their own thing while I focus on the betterment of my life; building a community of my own, entering schooling, finding work, and posting food and game shots here.
Hey everyone! My first post here on ZBD Social and I'm excited to join an all-new social network, too. Its arrival came with good timing, as I'm planning to retire my Twitter accounts by the end of this year, and I've already settled onto Bluesky a while ago.
I love my walks, food and gaming, so there's a good chance you'll come across photos of places, mountains, and food. If I figure out a way to post photos and video from my Switch, you can be sure I'll post those, too.
