#PennedPossibilities 93 — What makes your MC or SC's skin crawl? What do they hate most?
RR: Intentional dishonesty. Mia has a tenacious grip on reality, or a very good one on an entire section of the multiverse. As in, she keeps sliding between realities. People misleading other people on purpose strikes her as violence.
AiS: Carelessness. Living in a completely artificial environment is a risk MC and crew accept. But they'd rather be destroyed intentionally than die due to shoddy repairs.

It's far closer to "I like you enough to break protocol and ask my almighty gran for a favour for you".
🤔
Perhaps I should have explained that in the first place.
@b2ab0244
That's what the MC's friends would say. MC thinks it's the least you can do for a good friend.
The first case are supposed to be difficult to relate to, being space dwelling posthumans and, some of them, part of a theocracy. But that's also why it really means something when one of them prays for you.
#PennedPossibilities 92 — How does your MC or SC display affection?
AiS:
Most of the time they don't.Things happen that might look like affection but is adhering to duty
(I am trying out the idea of ideals and duty having positive results. Yes, yes, I know.)
At the end, Mc2 will actually like Mc1 and pray for them.
RR: Nobody is killed because they harmed MC's/SCs' friend(s), mostly because it was unintentional and that character hastened to make amends.
But it was definitely on the table.

So irritating. Made worse by ideas being pack animals; you start working on one and suddenly there's a whole bunch howling at you to write them.
😉

That was an amazing workshop. Important topic aside, I do go to workshops as a kind of pre-emptive treat (?) and yours unlocked several poems I'd been completely stuck on before.
