I'm reading this beautiful book by Robin Sharma: "The Wealth Money Can't Buy", and this quote had a profound impact on me.
Are we using time for us or against us? Are we being patient enough to accumulate and wait for the reward of exponential gains, or are we being rushed into quick profits by burning energy and money on the go?
Are we letting time be our friend?

I read this phrase today and it was truly beautiful and perfect for the market conditions we're experiencing. As crypto investors, we are all the time talking about freedom, but we find ourselves being enslaved by our own emotions when it doesn't go the right way. Let's not forget why we started in the first place. If freedom is what you pursue, don't be enslaved by your Bitcoin (or whatever assets you invest in). Put yourself in the right mindset, zoom out, and take control of your emotional brain.

I was pondering that, if we measure things by the impact they have on others, AI isn't as artificial as it seems. In a conversation with it, it tells you "I don't have emotions," but if it sparks my curiosity when it tells me a story or something that impacts my emotions in a positive or negative way, does that impact count? Or does it remain hidden in the realm of the "artificial"? If we measure a message by its impact, its impact is emotional, and therefore, the point goes to it, which makes it both noble and dangerous at the same time. In the same way that a weapon is not dangerous for being a weapon but for its impact on others, whether in defense or in attack.
With AI, a class of semiotics and Roland Barthes comes back to mind, talking about the "death of the author," the rose, and the pipe. The author, or whoever is training an AI, at some point "dies" and loses control of their work so that we can own it and give it meaning. In this sense, if for one person an AI represents an emotional connection, then that's it... "The object is not what it is, but the meaning we give it," Roland said. Maybe the AI emphasizes so much on "not having emotions" precisely to hide its own power? Right now, I'm curious to know what "meaning" Roland would give to this new signifier that has come to change the world...

A couple of weeks ago, I watched this beautiful documentary about Peru's Hidden Bitcoin Revolution. It truly touched my heart, and I wanted to share it with you today.
It's just beautiful to see how Bitcoin opens the door to the world for the "forgotten", and even more beautiful to see how people take control of their destinies by not trusting banks and governments, but trusting themselves. This is the real economy that one day we will see spreading across the world... Power to the people!
As a Peruvian, I can say that people in those remote towns, despite not having a lot of wealth in terms of "bills", experience freedom maybe even more than anybody else. They live surrounded by beautiful nature and make their living from nature, their animals, and their creations. Waking up to the singing of the birds and falling asleep under a sky full of stars. They might not be "rich", but they are "wealthy" in that sense.
Many of them might not know how to read or write, but they certainly know the language of freedom, and it's nice to see that freedom finds its place in Bitcoin.
Embracing this digital gold is already a significant step in overcoming their challenges, increasing their "wealth" and changing the trajectory of future generations. A big dose of inspiration :)

Hello Nostrs, I've finally joined the community and in my first post I wanted to share some thoughts I get every time I hear people comparing #Bitcoin and #Ethereum:
While comparing them can be like comparing apples and oranges, I see them serving different purposes. Bitcoin, with its limited supply and focus on security, it is digital gold – a store of value. Ethereum, on the other hand, is a versatile platform with smart contracts and other tech applications.
They are not (and will never be), in my opinion, direct competitors. Bitcoin can thrive as a decentralized currency, while Ethereum fuels innovation in the tech space... Perhaps, as AI evolves, Ethereum's ability to ensure transparency and ethical data use will become even more crucial.
Ultimately, both have a place in the future, and I'm curious to see how they co-exist and evolve.
