Besides the fact that everyone wants to see #Bitcoin blasting through100k, it seems plausible that some are selling before reaching that mark. Many people believe they’re smarter by taking some profits before others.
Combined with the little PA yesterday (due to absorption), I start thinking of a way heavier reaction to the upside once reaching the 100k:
- Many profits have been taken before
- High demand
- Less liquidity on exchanges
- Probability of seeing way more big players soon

Patience is key.
Absolutely @CarlBMenger, #Bitcoin is here to last. Once you went into it, it’ll change your bias.

Out of curiosity: What do you consider a #bitcoin maximalist? What’s your definition?

Is it someone who goes all in? Someone who posts about #btc on a daily basis?
One who orangepills others? A person that rejects fiat and sees the root of all evil in it? Maybe a person that builds a business on bitcoin?
Maybe all of that?

I saw many times people calling themself a maxi but I haven’t yet understood what that means. Enlighten me you beautiful people of nostr 🧡

 Finally „Running bitcoin“ 🙌
Great to have the ability to run it in such a beautiful way @umbrel

 It’s on my list 😅.
First goal was to run the node. Then public pool for my Bitaxe. Next step is to understand more on running a lightning node ⚡️
So, i decided to run my own node, thanks to @umbrel it‘s a beautiful thing to do…
But why does it take way longer for the initial sync when it is getting closer to the end?
Feels like the first 80% were done like nothing. And now it takes ages for the last 20%.
Pareto principle?

I am not sure if it can be like this bc of bandwidth… I mean the first 600GB got downloaded in two days. And now it takes way longer. But did you had the same experience? Faster in the beginning & slower in the end?
That kinda sounds more plausible to me but CPU is 70-80% idle. Also there is 80% of the RAM unused.
I mean the setup is simple, it‘s a Raspi5 with 8GB of RAM and an external Storage… still it seems not all available resources are used 🤷🏻‍♂️
Indeed it is, it’s an NVMe in an enclosure. Sadly I had to attach it to an slower USB2.0 port as umbrelOS was failing to start (boot loop) when connecting it to the faster USB3.0 port.
But also here it does not sound that logical to me that the first 600GB could be stored quickly and for the comparable small rest it takes way longer 🤔
Network (bandwidth) with my ISP usually also is stable. But okay, maybe I‘ll just be a bit more patience 🙏.
Thanks for your hints, tho!
Running smoothly with less then 10 watts and with 600+ Gh/s.
Awesome thing. Loving that little #Bitaxe Supra 👌. For me it’s the best fit to contribute to the network + learn about mining.

Seems there are only two things in life which are truly finite: time and Bitcoin.
Enjoy summer & stack sats 🧡

Alright, can someone suggest good resources for configuring the bitcoin.conf when running a full node?
