 Israel is now bombing Syria. Fanfuckingtastic.
 #Ukraine God Fucking Bless Jimmy Dore. I have no idea how a comedian ended up in front of the UN Security Council but I am here for it! ACTUAL truth to actual power.

 NOTHING fucks me off me than seeing a man who is SHIT at his job promoted.
 Many American women I know are accepting tours or shows that take place in China or the Middle Ea...
 @bfd3d589 The Middle East is a big place, it depends on the country. I know a few people who have worked/ still work in several Middle Eastern countries with no issue like UAE, Qatar and Bahrain. That being said, I was told a while ago that having an Israeli stamp in your passport will present problems entering most Middle Eastern countries.

I was actually going to Beijing in April 2020 but for obvious reasons didn't go. China concerns me more than some countries in the Middle East for travel.

Went to Russia pre pandemicand war, it was fine - zero issues at all. As soon as this conflict is over, I'm going straight back. Might be a bit more concerning for you with a US passport, for sure.
 At the very high risk of sounding like an MRA... Can someone comment and/or share why child rearing can only be done by women?

Context. I have someone I manage in the US at work. He has court stuff going on as his wife is a alcoholic and not looking after their two girl toddlers. He's tried several avenues including couples counselling etc. to no avail. He is going to fight for full custody.

My personal experience is similar. My father won custody because my mother was not up to looking after two kids under three (which she, today, openly states).

My father raised us (my brother and I). He did an OK job and he wasn't perfect. Neither are mothers. But, I would choose what I had over what my mother could provide.

Why are court systems designed to favour mothers? What advice can I give him for the US?
 Do we have trolls on Spinster? I mean, there are annoying people like the Ferguson we all blocked.... And if you haven't, why not? Anyone else? I have a bias to Koala.
 @Cousin_Martha_Corey Yes. AND apparently
Richard Ayoade is quoted on the cover in his review (along with Andrew Doyle and Jonathan Ross). I ADORE Ayoade from his days in the IT Crowd and so pleased to see his support ❤️

 So, any goss on what the story is that will break tomorrow on C4 Dispatches and in The Sunday Times?! X / Twitter is abuzz as are regular gossip sources online. Royals, politicians and comedians currently in the running. It's unusual for C4 to do a Saturday 90 minute Dispatches.... 🤔

 @LostInCalifornia He's told me she's drinking before taking the girls to nursery in the morning 😳

 @LostInCalifornia I'm not that involved beyond making sure his work can accommodate court hearings and being clear that if he ends up full time custody he will get the same allowances women do at work. I can empathise but also I need to know of my team / area will be impacte d
