@d4b81373 I'm quite fond of Mint too, though most of my servers still run Ubuntu Server. I've just stuck a 1TB Samsung SSD in the X220, so that's getting a fresh install of Mint 21.2 to celebrate.
I need to rebuild one of my spare routers, and I'm debating what to run on it. Choices are...
Debian
Ubuntu Server (50-50 about this)
OpenWRT (yep there's a PC build of that - https://openwrt.org/docs/guide-user/installation/openwrt_x86)
PFSense or Opnsense
The first two are nosing ahead, because for this mess I need multiple VLANs, a DHCP server for each VLAN, optional cross-VLAN routing, IPv4 and v6 firewalling and NAT.
I'm kinda leaning towards Ubuntu/Debian because it's what I know...

Everyone has something unusual in their living room and this is mine. I love watching people explode in a huge grin when I tell them "it's okay, you can pull him down and give him a hug" :)
I nearly bought the XL version but uh, I'm glad I didn't. Would have been nice but it also wouldn't have fit in the living room.
I'm still looking out for someone selling one of the snow leopards made by the same company (https://plushlife.eu/).https://digipres.club/system/media_attachments/files/111/170/172/219/758/579/original/688d475f6dd4956b.jpg
If you think rail fares are a rip off, imagine being the guy who tried to dodge a £15 Northern fare from Leeds to York and got hit with the £100 penalty fare AND the cost of the ticket.... #ukrail
