@d86237d2 @e4530301 Sigh, yeah. Back in the day I outfitted our office racks with serial-controllable tripplite PDUs off of eBay.  A genuinely slick setup, at pennies on the dollar. Don't think you can do that any more. :(

 @134318c2 100% in-universe. It’s…extremely good assessed as what it is, which is a series of connected short stories submitted to a collaborative fiction project? They’re absolutely a talented writer; I’d love to see what they could do in the hands of a professional editor. That sounds like a caveat and I guess it is, but I enjoyed reading it and have recommended it to multiple people.
