Dunno, language is politics… just look at the fight over new and old Norwegian. To the rest of us the political fight over old Danish influence on Norwegian language and culture is pretty esoteric. But they felt so strongly they created a second language.

 To be fair, the argentine peso lacks the collective fiction that it’s money most other currencies have, so he could just easily make rainbows legal currency. ;-D
