@f8d9bc1c I suspect that the continued presence on X/Twitter of those who make their living as journalists is another indicator of the sad state of journalism in which any failing noted about one party must be balanced by presenting some supposed failing in the other, with no interest in getting to the essential truth of events, along with a focus on personalities rather issues.
@ba07ee6f@d9fa809e That report moved me to subscribe — or, rather, to attempt to subscribe. The only subscription form rejects Canadian addresses (even if you specify "Canada") because it will not accept alphabetic characters in the postal code. I'll try again next week.
Great report — and Texas Observer has consistently fine reporting. There's a lot to observe in Texas. 🙂
@b541bfe5 This relatively common category of ambiguous mathematical statements seems to ignore the use of parentheses to remove ambiguity. I suppose not using parentheses is required in order to cultivate disagreement, but I don't really see the point. It's easy to make the statement unambiguous.
@cf593c09@61755e91@b1b5c4a3 Interesting! I had not thought of including fresh turmeric root in my ferments. Now I'm thinking about it. Good idea.
Thanks!
