 @2fd7551e “The Facemaker”, by Lyndsey Fitzharris. I found the physical book in a small bookshop in a little village we like, bought it because the cover looked interesting, and was blown away by it. It’s basically the story of how WW1 caused the creation of modern plastic surgery. And so many beautiful little details along the way. Amazing from start to finish.
