 These tiny butterflies, bedecked in blue and grey, infest nearly every verge, basking on the blades and sipping the juices of blooming weeds. But hardly anyone nods or even kneels to see the scale of their wings or wish them well in a city that never stops trying to cut life (and lawns) short lest it loses control of all that refuse to be tamed and taught.
