Can anyone tell me why #rust #rustlang '.unwrap()' is bad? I understand "because it panics" but that's too superficial an answer. AFAICT, every occurrence is by choice of dev. So either it's a bug by dev, or mistake by user. So does '.unwrap()' get crap only bc ppl don't understand the use cases?
@b05df304 I heard good things but never tried. There's always something with browsers, it seems. 😂 I think it's more about which trade-offs you're comfortable with.
@822a3c32 really? Seems like you're unnecessarily mixing concerns this way. Don't you want some external action to query a key, then load the driver with this input as an argument of sorts?
@b05df304 I am not sure I can derive the exact meaning of transient in this context. I assume you mean that it isn't persistent, e.g. keeps replicating so maintains threshold level presence, but instead it disappears over some (unspecified, possibly unknown and/or deviating per person) amount of time.
(I know I am making much more of your answer, but I am trying to put it in words in the way I place it into my limited understanding.)
