Still got a little achy in my back, sucks cuz that means hubs had to do my animal chores & that’s the best part of my day.

Spent yesterday flat on my back but feeling way better today. It’s the last day of vaca before I have to go back into the loan mine. Bonus pic is a turkey vulture that landed on my chimney. I watched him through my skylight for a good long time before he finally flew off

It’s an awesome day here. Hunting is over for the year as I was successful this morning. We’re dropping this one off at the processor this year, it’s a little early in the season for us to hang it properly.

Still no deer on my deer hunt, but I have 2 kinds in of wine going in carboys & cleaned the bulk of my breezeway out. Still lots to do on this vaca.

Already spent hours in the hunting blind, fed the animals & made breakfast. Leftover elk steak, Monterey Jack cheese & our eggs. Great start to my vaca!

Today we’re going to hit the juice house for our wine juice.

Been a little lazy this season & let a few days slip by, but gearing up now to put in my 1st hours in the blind this year. This guy was hanging out in front of it last night. I am 2 days into my hunting vaca & still haven’t made it into the blind. Gonna set myself up good though to make sure that I get there every day this week. Gotta go dig out the hunting gear & the crossbow today.

So many things I need to do on this vaca.
