@113f6899 ha. This is why I generally prefer doing it at home. Some of the U.S. tea shops are fabulous.

@edc128e6 There's that group of people that will never associate the circumstances between the two since TFG can do no wrong. HRC described it perfectly as a cultish behavior. Deprogramming them will take a long time if ever since other grifters will continue to grift.

@edc128e6 I'm beginning to wonder if chiding media for its mistakes itself is becoming sort of a point/counterpoint business--all apart of the cycle. Instead of taking criticism seriously, the executives are using the criticism to fuel revenues. Same 'ol coverage; be criticized for it by reputable sources like James Fallows and Margaret Sullivan; have attention drawn to the coverage; repeat.

Cynical much?
It’s a perverse and unwelcome thought but I’m actually looking forward to the possibility of ...
@edc128e6 You know they'll never learn from that though. They'll blithely go on and blame everyone else when things don't go their way. They think of nothing about their terrible political coverage and platforming some terrible people in their opinion sections.
Here’s some #FollowFriday fun for ya!

@edc128e6 If only I didn't have to rely on it to deposit checks, I'd be a happier man.
Have I ever mentioned how much I hate my bank's tech? Every single year after a new iOS release, I have to wait for six months before I can access the bank's app. This is without fail. The app just crashes whenever I open it.

@59034767 I went to check after reading your piece. I have it but it's on a 3.5 disk. If I could get it out of there, I'd be happy to share. I wanted to reread it.

@113f6899 I am too in most cases. But, as someone who pushed very very hard to get the CVAA passed and appropriately regulated, I have to keep my hopes up.

@edc128e6 At this point, I just want to keep on banging my head against the wall. IT never stops.
Let me rewrite the headline and the emphasis for you.

Original: "How the UAW strike could have ripple effects across the economy"

Rewrite: "How low wages for factory workers and extreme pay for executives have a rippling effect on the economy every day"

@f884fa2b I am ... skeptical about this line of thinking. What will this book accomplish? I call this genre "concern trolling." If it's not reputation laundering, then I'm not sure what else it is.

@4764c84a Try the Logitech Solar Keyboard K760. I've had one for more than 10 years now. Charges directly through solar or ambient light. I just keep it out in the light and it's always charged.
