I was in a #Boston trolley/subway car full of students. Nobody’s got any alerts. Neither did I. The iphone was not even in “do not disturb”. The physical silence switch was engaged though. I saw the alert later on the screen.

@34b3698a As much as I hate single purpose tools, the Amazon Basics Mini Rice Cooker works great for me. Rinse inside the inner vessel, one button, just use a bit more water than indicated on the marker. Probably depends on rice.
I’ve been looking into new podcast apps from the show notes. Very confusing.
Please help. I’m currently using Overcast on the iPhone.
What I need is an app that can automatically download latest episodes (Fountain does that) AND the ability to play the latest episodes in a playlist. Automagically.
For example, I want to have a playlist “News” that automatically includes and downloads the latest briefings from Fox, NPR, WSJ, ABC, Bloomberg, etc.
Recommendations?

@26769ed7 The stand is. Since I live in a small space I decided to pay premium for a compact system that is designed specifically to make the turntable immune from amp vibration under it. Btw, it doesn’t have preamp.
