Got a new monitor at work, a lovley 24" monitor.  Alas, modern software makes it  unusable -- so much screen waste. 

 With #GNU turning 40, and the @206b5bf5 turning ?? (pop quiz! https://hostux.social/@fsf/111177276677774798); my hope for is that we will take back control of the hardware we use, so that we can get rid of DRM, non-free blobware, magical boxes and make our computers respect the freedoms that all users deserve. 

 Do people still use #GnuPG? 

 So this #Unity thing ... the issue isn't really that they change their ToS.  The issue is that people fell for non-free software, on top of that ... that people are fuming over the price change is not really relevant.

People are upset over the wrong thing because they have not learned about the freedoms that they should have when it comes to their own computers.

Had they known, they would never had used Unity ... #SoftwareFreedom 

 First official release of #GNU Boot is out! It is an entirely unencumbered version of #Coreboot without blob ware.  Fetch it from https://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/gnuboot/ while it is hot, and please report bugs to http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?group=gnuboot -- one step closer to eradicating non-free software and non-free firmware!
