Ahh... they've had at least one data leak/comprimise that I know of. So I get phone calls from spammers on behalf of Ledger claiming to need my seed etc.
They also moved away from a self custody option to have some kind of bizarro "we hold your keys".
They're not open source (?) and Ledger Live also has telemetry that reports home to them. They promote alot of trash and now dead coins, the list goes on honestly.
Don't get me wrong.. I've owned like 2 SE ledgers, the X, multiple Nano and the Nano S.
Oh yeah and when my nano x broke, they wanted me to mail the nano back to them! Even though they replaced/sent out a new one I was in NO WAY giving them my entire tx history etc...
I consider them a potential honeypot too for Law Enforcement. Enough reasons? 😅😁

Best thing to keeping calm for me without substances etc is to just breathe.
Close your eyes, breathe in very deep through your nostrils, exhale through your mouth as slow as you can. Do that 3-5 times, helps me. Stupid/common advice I know but it helps.
Another is to join your thumbs together or certain fingers on one hand with the fingers on your other hand. Brings me great tranquility at times and I have no freaking idea why 😅

I agree with you.. that is my version of sexy and something to aspire for. I always want to surround myself with people better than me. It's the only way I seem to learn as I'm too much a product of my environment at times.
To me one of the most important things to me is building a kinship, a bond, a friendship and relationship that actually lasts stupid issues and long silences because the two people actually care about each other at the end of the day.
My emotional state changes all the time, but when I find myself in the company of someone for whom I truly care and feel proud of... it stays happy. Just 24/7 elated happy. Wish I could achieve this feeling more tbh.

Biggest worry I guess is when I'm using Nunchuk or something that uses E-Mail as a login, if they require e-mail verification... and my email is unavailable, I worry people could lose access to their coins as they don't have that 4 digit code...
