Variable rate mortgages (common in Canada) are adjusting to new higher rates. Landlords are being forced to raise rents to cover their debts.
Incomes are not keeping up, pricing many Canadians out of housing or consuming a huge portion of their income.
That along with food inflation has many Canadians living on the edge.

The really crazy part is, the Biden Administration has been selling all of the materials purchased by the Trump Administration to build walls.
Biden disposed of something like $300 million worth of wall materials the government already owned. If I recall, the US government received less than $5 million for it.
Now the US government will have to repurchase all of those wall materials at full price, probably even more expensive with inflation since 2020.

Taxpayer-paid statisticians quietly admit the Biden economy sucks.
The Bureau of Economic Analysis revised down the past 3 years of data. Now they say inflation was higher, growth was worse, and consumer spending is at a crawl while government spending gallops. Now that media’s not paying attention, they quietly bumped up Trump’s numbers, and bumped down Biden’s.
At some point we’re China. Where everybody knows the numbers are fake. As always, believe what you see, not what they say.

A lot of people in the comments are upset. But these wild hogs are out of control in Texas. They are not a native species. They cause an incredible amount of damage to ranchers and farmers.
Tourists actually pay to go on trips like this to help reduce the population. It is something that just has to be done to keep the population under control.
