Morning Mastodonians!
Pretty spirited hockey game this morning, despite having only 13 skaters. They went up 4-0 on a couple of flukey goals on me (including a good tip by my own defenseman) and some nice shots, but we battled back to tie. Then another tip in front put them up, but I skated off for the last shift and we scored with the extra attacker - that was fun! Then we won the shootout (yup - a shootout!) 3-1. It was a good workout.

Well, despite my deepest wishes, the charity #golf tournament didn't get canceled yesterday, so I got to spend 4 hours in the cool drizzle, chasing one bad shot after another. At least it was "scramble" format, so I didn't often have to hit my ball again. We used probably 5 of my shots the entire 18 holes. Yeah, it was grim. But the guys I was with are a good bunch, so it wasn't all terrible. And it was for a good cause...
Oh man. How come no one told me that Gary Wright passed on to the astral plane a few days ago? Do I need to say Dream Weaver was a formative song during my high school years? Heck, the entire album was fantastic.
