@25664448 @256de476 in the late 1990s I worked at a factory that was transitioning to just in time materials. I was working in shipping and receiving and helped set up the Kanban system of materials supply. It originated in Japan and was all the rage. The fragility of such a system requires an extremely stable commercial network. That stable world that the #CorporateOligarchy relied upon has now succumbed to the inherent nature of #Capitalism.

@d591b4ac In a different reality maybe. I would certainly love to see it happen, but odds are it is going to hurt in a toss-up election. I would vote for her, if in that district, but I'd sure as hell have reservations about her judgement that she would risk this. Maybe she was the only candidate available?
That this is the candidate in the sexually repressed, uptight US, let alone VA, makes it hard not to think she was a plant from the right. Could she be so stupid as to not know her history was going to be a problem. Could the #DemocraticParty leaders be so inept they failed to catch this aspect of her history. Seriously, WTAF can explain this cockup. https://slate.com/news-and-politics/2023/09/susanna-gibson-scandal-virginia-democrats-state-legislature.html
