curious, when i “Like” something on twitter, i often come back on a different device and the Like event wasn’t recorded or was reverted. do these show as multiple notification events on the recipient end or did they just not ever broadcast.
anyone know if you can set editions to a free mint off Art Blocks: Studio or if it has to be at least that 0.015e base price?
not sure if i should burn more editions of the art blocks: And Yet We Dance drop or leave it open?

initial goal: 500ed. dropped fee to lowest AB would allow (0.015e). reduced to 250ed.

of the first 75 mints, i’ve minted 69ed myself 🥵
 i applied to mint on gamma.io | prints 🙏
the inscription pricing looking steeeep if you’re outside that gate
moved some AR into a grip of permanent dweb storage space. was debating whether to go s3, storj, or interplanetary with it, but fuck it we ball — put 200yrs on the clock.
maybe this is more of a READ access issue per device / user-agent (anti-webscrape?)

would be curious to compare on the api, but it looks like read access to the api was completely removed. weird.

feels like a good case for distributed social. https://image.nostr.build/bd1b638cf2b6097f36cf751becda5984edf890a4b0c0d7bfa09e11b6870de78e.jpg
needs work: bsky squares crossposted media previews vs native posts. openvibe drops bsky credentials.

nostr lacks delete ux. writing to fit x's 280 char limit (vs bsky 300, masto 500)

yet, optimistic
testing posts from this system across feeds. x shows the latest if you have their permalink but not immediately viewable or indexed to my profile view when visited from my account or confirmed on a second phone (maybe caching? or just random account weirdness.)

distributed timeline posts different.

i’m interpreting this as a restriction on my device reading the content more than the content being available, almost as if the device was seen to be a crawler?
dbl the rareness / dbl the fun

halving and yet we dance / burning 250ed
exploring the Aero palette in And Yet We Dance.

this was the first proj where i've tried replacing named palettes of colors with named themes of grouped colors, like multiple inner palettes.

 considering farcaster. self-hosting a hub needs 16gb ram / 4 cpu min

bluesky pds runs on 1/16 of that. different paths to decentralization
 standing up the following repeaters
- mastodon + rss: ryan@mastodon.bellverse.xyz
- nostr: iryanbell@iryanbell.xyz
- threads: iryanbell@threads.net
- bluesky: iryanbell.com

sync your pref and own your own alg 🙏🩵
looking at the rich media landscape for decentralized social, pixelfed and peertube are intriguing (plus loops in beta)

the server reqs on these are on the steep end tho (php… sql), more suited for a mid-sized community server than lean self-hosted pds.
the plan is to use cross-posting out of a canonical mastodon box using the “iryanbell” handle for publishing, then deduplicate from secondary handles for privacy-preserving ad-free trend analysis

easy peasy lemon squeezy
took a step back. replaced platform algs with relays + federated feeds behind a homebrew aggregation hub.

media needs work. nostr struggles past text, mastodon with video. bluesky compresses heavy

still, excited about this migration to DeSoc 🚀
