Medusa was once a beautiful maiden and a priestess in Athena's temple.
Poseidon, the god of the sea, was enamored with Medusa's beauty. He pursued her and ultimately raped her inside Athena's temple. Athena, enraged by the desecration of her sacred space, punished Medusa instead of Poseidon.
Medusa was transform into a monstrous figure with the power to petrify anyone who looked at her.
This artwork is an ode to Medusa’s unfair punishment.

What are you seeking in this world? What is it that moves you and makes you keep going ahead.
Me? It’s art, anytime I paint I feel a catharsis in me flowing and glowing through my body and it guides me to complete each painting. This one is about Determination.
I wanted to paint defiance agains all the things that try to stop me to fulfill my goal. Nothing will never stoped me and I have a blind faith in what I do.
