I'm sorry to say this is the 10th anniversary of my father's death. He left us as he was sitting down with a beer to watch the Red Sox in the playoffs, which is not a bad way to go. I think this is the last photo I have of us together.

 It's the 73rd anniversary of Charles Schulz's PEANUTS. Here's a hardly-seen article on Schulz's cartooning from more than two years earlier, from the magazine of Art Instruction, Inc, which was founded by my great grandmother's half brother.

 I don't regret having switched Mastodon servers. But I was just trying to pull up a clever response someone made to one of my posts on my old server, and couldn't figure out how to do it. Seems like I won't be able to give that person credit when I reference their comment in a newsletter I'm writing. 

 Is there any way to get rid of these phantom Mastodon accounts, which get in the way of finding people? (Only the first two of these are ones I created.)

 I decided to move my Mastodon presence from @sfba.social to @mastodon.social. Seems simpler and cleaner.
