Michael Sheen is brilliant on how he had a 'pipeline' to go from a Welsh mining town to RADA - inspirational teaching at a comprehensive and well funded arts programme. Plus a little luck going to the town that created Richard Burton and Antony Hopkins which supercharged local willingness.
Gutted by Thatcher, fees, etc. His ladder was taken down behind him.
#WordWeavers 7/9. Why did your villain become a villain?
I'm writing something where the villain is a villain. A complex villain - they've done some remarkably good things - but a controlling sociopath given unaccountable power, and thwarted by rejection from the love of their life. So they villain, and then has to villain some more. There's even a 'let me explain Mr Bond scene' which I actually think is in character/makes sense.
