why does everyone call them arrow functions in #javascript instead of lambdas or closures? is it there to not scare devs off or is there another reason
@488cf7e2 I didn't mean this instance!! emacs.ch is a bastion of hope and love. I was referring to the claims that trans women on fedi are very often n*zis which is a frankly insane thing to say
was hitting issues in my #emacs config which manifested due to using use-package and straight.el along with setting straight-use-package-by-default to t.
Using use-package for built-ins like org-mode would error out since straight would try to download a package by that name.
Simple resolution was setting :straight to nil manually in that use-package form, so that it wouldn't be downloaded.
