Tonight on BBC2 from 9:35 there's a new documentary series starting: "First Ladies of Hip-Hop", talking to and hearing from the women who've been involved in hip-hop from its earliest days through to the present.
If it's anything like some of the other BBC in-depth music documentaries it should be excellent.

The BBC is now reporting that the government won't be paying for #HS2 to be connected through to central London, so the project will need to find the money from private backers if wants that section to be built.
Outstanding work from the government - they have turned an essential, vital piece of infrastructure into a regional rail line from Birmingham to the outskirts of London.

Inspired by both Ben Eater's site and by @f1ee7a25's own attempts, I've been meaning for ages to have a go at creating a simple 6502-based computer.
Today I finally had enough free time to sit and start playing. Even though it's not really doing anything yet, it's still quite thrilling to see all the LED lighting up.
The Arduino by the way is just there to help me monitor the output, it's not part of the actual system.

I work for a large organisation, and apparently the latest policy is to stop hiring temporary contractors and start recruiting permanent staff again.
How was this policy change communicated to us in an email? With this:
