I have no idea if "The Progressive Turnout Project" is legit or not, but apparently if you send "STOP" back to opt out, since they can no longer text you from that number they will text you from a *different* number to tell you that you've been successfully opted out and you can also then opt out of that number which will result in the same message from yet another number. I wonder how many numbers they own…
