I should have clarified that I believe that prayer belongs in the category that Hume refers to as useless and disagreeable so-called Christian virtues that are in fact vices to mature, rational men and women.
And as for as the psychological benefits of prayer, it really can't hold a candle to yoga/meditation, or even a cup of Chamomile tea.. or in my case, eating pussy. 😈
