In iOS 17.1 beta, you can quickly switch between photo edit tool modes by tapping on the selected tool again. For example: When editing a portrait image, you can tap on the already selected Portrait tool to toggle between the aperture slider and the portrait effect dial without having to reach for the top of the screen to use the dedicated buttons.
