 one of my all-time #movie #pet-peeves is the "caught someone falling in the last second" trope. If you maneuver beneath someone to catch them with your plane or something, the impact will be almost the same as if he collided with the ground in the first place. 

 kann sich noch jemand an diese komplett seltsame Doku-Reihe erinnern, in der es darum ging, was passieren würde, wenn die Menschheit urplötzlich und ohne Grund plötzlich spurlos verschwindet?
