no delete, no edit is necessary. if there's an update to a note, that's what the comment or remote is for - in blockchain "edits", there should be a clear fork with a mode stamp and the addition but absolutely zero ability to write over or rewrite already-present data. it is too easy to impersonate someone and change a harmful narrative perpetrated against someone and avoid accountability. marginalia - not subsequent editions. look at esoteric published editions as a lesson for this - generational dumbassery and limited understanding destroys (intentionally or not) encoded material with unsanctioned alterations to works of others. admin delete without user access is dangerous for mental health stability situations. same with strategic or uneven visibility. it fucks with people's stability.
i also think wide disclosure of this in real terms will curb the behavior of writing the narratives of others for them and stealing identities - assigning information to people against permission. for example: sharing a document and then someone using their grandchild as a tag to have that document placed under their identity... as stake or future pow theft depending on the plan. this is a future-looking forecast, but is an incredibly imprudent education to pursue. if people know they will be revealed as maligning or lying about others intentionally to gain custody of work because that person will be leveraged as mentally unstable because of those direct discourses - there's less incentive to force narratives onto others for this outcome.
