My #amateurradio club had a lab session today where I built my first antenna, a 49:1 end-fed half wave! I also soldered for the first time in my life! It was a lot of work and my thumbs were cramping up from twisting the wire, but I’m very happy with the result. It’s got good SWR but the real test will be at Field Day next weekend. #hamradio
