it's too early to conclude Nostr's applications today because they are all at nausual stage to serve as  Twitter knockoff,  notwithstanding it's the protocol itself fully potential to be a layer of future stack. It can be used perfectly as a global sensing system to support economy or disaster alerting.  

 And apparently, censors like Great Firewall in China would be sleepless as well.
