 Hello! This is my first note. I just found out about this platform and I'm excited to try it out. I am a visual artist that works with acrylic and paper on canvas and wood, and I dabble in photography as well. 

My work is rooted in the themes of identity, femininity and storytelling. I enjoy studying culture and genealogy and use that in my work as well.

Here is one of my works, titled "The Holy Trinity". This work is part of an ongoing series where I'm exploring my experiences being raised in the Black church. So much of my identity is rooted in that subculture. 

I am excited to share more about my work and meet other people here.
