Thanks. I'm glad someone noticed. I put a little more effort into this one than most.
Process used:
- search for "World Town Planning Day" on https://presearch.com/search?q=World%2520Town%2520Planning%2520Day
- toggle to Images tab on that search results page
- find one that I thought would work well with buildings arranged as a Bitcoin symbol
- chose https://weirdholiday.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/world-town-planning-day-973x550.jpg and downloaded that image
- uploaded the image to claude.ai as an attachment to a conversation saying "Describe the attached image, using 1000 characters or less in total"
- Claude said: "This image shows an aerial architectural visualization or master plan rendering of what appears to be a large urban development project. The view is from above, looking across a mixed-use development that transitions from dense urban buildings to residential areas, with mountains visible in the background. The development features modern buildings with distinctive curved and terraced structures in the foreground, including what appear to be commercial or institutional buildings with green roofs and public spaces. Behind these are residential zones with both apartment buildings and what look like townhouses or single-family homes. The layout follows the natural topography of the land, with roads curving through the development. The color palette shows reddish-orange roofs in some areas, white and gray modern buildings, and abundant green spaces integrated throughout. The surrounding area transitions to natural greenery and mountainous terrain, suggesting this is either on the outskirts of a city or a planned satellite development."
- I modified that text to instead read, "This image shows an aerial architectural visualization or master plan rendering of what appears to be a large urban development project. - Pasted that modified text into a prompt at https://ideogram.ai/g/CFrqt6XFSv2v0QNDntLrdQ/1
- Downloaded the generated image
- Enhanced it using a firefox private browser tab to https://www.upscale.media/tools/photo-enhancer
- Downloaded the enhanced image
- It was still not clear enough, so used (v2) Creative Upscale with FLUX.1-dev at https://glif.app/@001/glifs/cm1hu675n00068tdt0b36yql5
- Downloaded the enhanced image
- Added a tiny, barely noticeable, 1GLENCo watermark
- uploaded it to https://satellite.earth/cdn
- sent it out on Nostr first, then https://stacker.news/items/758513/r/1GLENCoop, then https://x.com/1GLENCo/status/1854759285772661153
It's a lot of steps, but I don't usually put this much time/effort into each day's picture(s). Now that it's obvious that the price of Bitcoin will go to $1 million per BTC and beyond, I figured it's worth spending more time and effort on it now. Who knows- maybe someday my #BitcoinDayOfTheYear images will become part of history where it was obvious that I was trying to convey the good word of bitcoin to the world, even if only thru AI artwork.
We all make mistakes. I unfollowed him when he downplayed self-custody. I saw when he sent that tweet trying to right his wrong. I have yet to refollow him, but I think I will soon.
Congrats. Is this your first? Keep an eye on lookout for diapers on sale and buy some whenever they're on sale. Keep receipts so you can return any unused ones.
Cool. Hey btcknight21 npub14w05ezumgjzlgv02sp8uwgt24savfu6xddmhycvm4dczgtcf9jeqymsne2 - I tried to zap you a few sats for this note, and a different one of yours. Both failed. I thought maybe it was my albyhub somehow, but I verified it was not by making sure I was able to zap other people. Looks like your lightning address is not working for some reason. You should check it.

I wasn't able to scan the QR from that image, but according to https://archive.ph/Dls1i the address scans to 1HiMoMgBaAikFHgAt3M4YJtetp4HrnsiXu.
That address has received 44.26590357 BTC according to https://mempool.space/address/1HiMoMgBaAikFHgAt3M4YJtetp4HrnsiXu.
The current value of 44.26590357 BTC at the current bitcoin price of $67273, that much BTC would be worth almost $3 Million dollars today. ($2,977,900.13 to be exact).
The left arm on my computer chair broke off 2 days ago. I almost started shopping for a new chair, but then realized that most bitcoiners don't have chairs so I forced myself to sit up straighter in the chair without relying on the armrests. I can already feel the muscles in my left arm getting stronger; slight pain, but the good kind of pain that you feel when your muscles are gaining strength.
I've also noticed that without the armrest my posture has improved, so I guess since I have chosen to not replace the broken chair and instead HODL the sats instead, I can confirm that BITCOIN FIXED MY BAD POSTURE WHEN SITTING IN MY COMPUTER CHAIR.
No need to zap me anything for this comment or like. I just wanted to let you know that I saw your note when it was reposted by npub1glencxg7ch9q8jp08ew3guuyuq5txynyp89t4uqkf8splxmfk63se7fu5r
I am now following you, and I zapped you some sats for doing good and spreading awareness of bitcoin.
Argh. I spoke too soon. I should have made sure that I zapped you before I sent that. Turns out that you are not zappable (at least not from Coracle or Primal). Looks like you do not have a lightning address associated with your nostr profile. I looked briefly on your site and did not see a way to donate to your cause.
Is there any reason in particular you do not have a lighting address already set up?
Argh #2: I typo'ed the user's npub whose note I saw repost your giveaway. Their npub is:
npub1ckp277xl73p8qrk9ncshsefj5ur5cq973da3atycnwlky6vqd8xq5r7tnx
I'm using Primal on desktop at the moment, but I usually use Coracle.
The frequent juggling of the relays is cumbersome and time-consuming. I understand that's a price to pay for true decentralization, but still, I'd like to see a way for a client to auto-select relays somehow, even if they're random ones or based on some use select-able criteria.
