@7502a322 oh. That’s quite the pocket full. I’m just an IT guy that likes to go camping and backpacking. So maybe that’s why the leatherman suits me well.
I watched some “every day carry” videos on YouTube and ended up buying a pair of knipex pliers to see what they are like. I like them but I decided it would be too many things in my pocket and I didn’t want a pouch that would add another step to getting stuff.
If I had a more industrial job though, my “edc” would be more like yours.

Ya I was just miffed at my brother’s reaction. That line of thinking is the same kind of thinking that says if you aren’t willing to date transgenders than you’re a “transphobe”, which he thinks is radical and ridiculous. But you know, he tries to not be partisan or extreme and more “understanding” or some shit.
@3a92a9b1@669563d8 yes and we all enjoyed Richard Simmons but we wouldn’t have if he grew a beard and wore a dress and said “what are you looking at? I’m the new normal. Get used to it bitch.”
@3a92a9b1@669563d8 my cousin said I’m a little homophobic and it pissed off my brother because he didn’t think I was. Then I told my brother “well I don’t apologize for being grossed out when I see two dudes make out.” My brother, the “moderate independent thinker” he strives to be, said, “oh Nevermind. That’s homophobic. Yep. That’s like the exact definition of homophobia.”
What!?

McCarthy was failing to hold democrats accountable, including Biden. There is so much low hanging obvious rotten fruit that he ignored. So what she is saying makes no sense unless you assume she is just spewing rhetoric while having different motives.
@1ab7a784 surprised the AP is exposing this, but then again it does read like a hit piece on Biden.
They adored Andrew Cuomo and bet on him, but didn’t lose anything because they got rid of him for reasons they never defended.
Has anybody seen evidence of these migrants being encouraged and helped by some actors in places like Venezuela? The numbers of people flooding in globally is staggering.
@7502a322 I never had one. Now I do. I lost the first one in the snow. Didn’t have one for awhile and really missed it. Then got a second and I feel whole again.
It’s how you have it clipped in one spot predictably and can fling anything out and close it with one hand, the knife being the easiest.
They are transhumanism.
@7f888041@1bc06a06 I hate bashing Catholics. I see them as possible allies to my ideals. But I have that same problem with Catholicism. The priests up to the pope are all just humans and walking a tight rope just like the rest of us. You never reach the end until you reach the end. So I wouldn’t be hanging on to people too much.
@7f888041@1bc06a06 I know some Catholics that are not happy with the direction their church is going, but it is like walking in a land field to mention it to other Catholics. Pretty messed up. Wonder if Latin mass will fork off completely.

The amount of illegals flooding western countries is not a conspiracy theory. It’s a conspiracy.
Any average person that casually votes democrat, independent, or republican would never really allow this if they were in charge. They may defend their team, but if they were really asked to be in charge, and they just remained an average person and not a politician, they would be shutting down all of it and openly discouraging it. There is no doubt in my mind that is the vast majority of people
This needs the Twilight Zone soundtrack. I find it fun to hear about this stuff.

@669563d8 at least she admits she’s mentally fucked up.
“They” have to hold onto that rope that gives them hope that they will forever have a scapegoat.
@357cdba8 now we get to find out if we see a republican that enjoys chasing rats or one that enjoys eating them. I haven’t seen many that do the latter successfully.
@b42b2f3c@c215902f and regardless your response just ignores how much we were lied to about both, including telling people that if you are vaccinated you won’t spread the disease.
It’s like a kid telling everyone that he can do 20 pull-ups. Then later he says he can do 17. Then later he says he can do 14. Then 10. Then when he’s forced to prove it, he can do 5 and struts around saying “see, I told you that I can do pull-ups”.
@b42b2f3c@c215902f it would be if masks and the vaccines worked like wearing a seatbelt and driving carefully. Studies have shown that driving carefully and wearing a seatbelt conclusively work while studies of the jabs and masks just show that it depends on who you want to listen to and what outcomes the studies want to find in order to get continued funding.

@41995660 enjoyed your substack and I agree except that it isn’t even a possibility in this political climate. It should have been in place awhile ago. Now the damage has already been done and the backlash would be intense. The only way it is possible is if for some reason democrats were forced to admit they don’t want communism and see it as an enemy to the country’s philosophies. My feeling is they will never do that now and anything anti-communist will seem to be directed at them.

@41995660 the last paragraph proves that they can’t end any story about EV’s without a positive note.
He added, “Most of the time when we respond to a collision, there’s a driver to tell us how long the person has been under the car. There was no driver, no witnesses. But due to the Cruise technology, the police have more information than they do for most collisions.”
@c1bd69cb@669563d8 ya I am around parents all of the time that say “Brynn, go get your coat.”
“NO! I don’t want to”
“Ok, I’m going to get my coat and I’ll bring out your coat just in case.”
@92f534ee so I don’t forget that people within the church and religion behave very differently, especially from one global region to another. And the variations are big in most religions. So I get it. I just don’t like to see Catholics getting hooked around with this pope. I personally think he’s the worst pope of my lifetime. And the division is going down the middle between conservatives and “progressives”, and conservative Catholics aren’t happy and they shouldn’t be imho.
